A Personal Story

The past few years have been riddled with grief and as a practitioner I believe my experiences have opened my eyes and heart to the struggles my patients go through. I lost my beloved father in 2020 after a nasty battle with pancreatic cancer. It took me two whole years to not think about him daily. And then at the end of 2024, I lost my sweet adventure kitty, Juniper Rose. It is unbelievable how impactful her death has been on my mental health and, even though we have two new kitties, I miss her always and regret letting her be an indoor outdoor cat. All the what-ifs and sadness over time lost has been a huge theme in my life following these two losses.
